Irish software company
Clear, friendly apps for iPhone and the web.
“Beagán agus a rá go maith.” Say a little, and say it well.
Faolán Digital is a small Irish software company. We make iPhone apps and simple websites that are easy to read, quick to learn, and don't ask for more of your data than they need.

What we make
- iPhone and iPad apps
- Built with Apple's own tools. We would rather ship one clear screen than five clever ones.
- Small websites
- Like this one: a few pages, fast on a phone, no cookies and no trackers.
- Updates and fixes
- Apps need looking after once they are out. We keep ours working with each new version of iOS.
Why “Faolán”?
Faolán is an old Irish name meaning “little wolf”. We liked it because it is small, curious and a bit stubborn, which is roughly how we like to work.
We are a new company, so there is no long list of clients here yet. When there is work worth showing, it will go on this page.
A few things we stick to
- Ask for as little data as possible. If an app doesn't need your name or location, it won't ask for it. The details are in our privacy policy.
- Make it readable. Good contrast, proper text sizes and plain words, designed to the WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Answer emails. A person reads every message, and we aim to reply within two working days.
